Privacy Policy

Overview

Metabolica ("we", "our", "the app") is a TDEE and nutrition tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Metabolica operates fully offline. All personal data is stored exclusively on your device:

Body metrics you enter (weight, height, age, activity level)
Food log entries and meal data
Body measurements (waist, hip, chest, arm, thigh, neck)
Goal settings and progress data
App preferences and theme settings

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

Third-Party SDKs

The app uses the following third-party services which may collect non-personal, aggregated data:

Google AdMob — Displays advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google Privacy Policy.
Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing — Processes subscription purchases. Payment data is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
Capacitor Local Notifications — Sends local reminders. No data leaves the device.

Advertising

Metabolica displays ads to free users via Google AdMob. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

Subscriptions

Metabolica offers weekly and monthly premium subscriptions. All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Data Retention & Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time by:

Using the "Delete Account" option in Profile → Settings
Uninstalling the app from your device

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data permanently.

Children's Privacy

Metabolica is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Terms of Use Subscription

Acceptance

By downloading or using Metabolica, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Metabolica for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Premium Subscriptions

Weekly plan: $0.99 per week
Monthly plan: $1.99 per month
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) settings.
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

Disclaimer

Metabolica provides general nutritional information and TDEE estimates for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metabolica and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey.
