MyCookNote — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

MyCookNote stores all user data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

Data stored locally includes:

• Recipes you create or import
• Meal plans and shopping lists
• Cooking history and favorites
• App settings and dietary preferences
• In-app purchase receipts (processed by Apple/Google)

2. In-App Purchases

MyCookNote offers optional in-app purchases processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple/Google and is never accessed by us.

3. Data Storage

All recipe data, meal plans, and preferences are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage/IndexedDB. No data is sent to external servers. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data.

4. Online Recipe Search

When you use the online recipe search feature, search queries are sent to third-party recipe APIs to retrieve results. No personal information is included in these requests.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

6. Children's Privacy

MyCookNote does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to use.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time through the app's Settings page by selecting "Delete Account & All Data". This action is immediate and irreversible.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
